Shelly--the Other White Meat
Shelly got her first haircut yesterday. She had a few mats under her arms, do I decided to have her shaved all over. Bad timing, as we awoke to 37 degrees this morning! She had to put a coat on first thing....
Wish I could get a better picture, she looks like a plucked chicken! It's not really a pretty site....here is a before shot..
Stac had to put on her hoodie to keep warm...
Sash is a little more dignified than these two...

80's Gypsy
I've been busy going through my vintage pieces for the site, and I came across these two amazing 80's peasant dresses. The first dress is kind of insane. Ruffles everywhere. I love this dress!! It really epitomizes the 80's....
This was actually a famous style of dress made popular in the 80's and by whom I cannot recall. Readers? This dress is actually a knock off of that style I believe. Still great on it's own.
It really is over the top...

This blue and white dress is a little more subdued, but the perfect 80's piece. So simple.
The skirt is amazingly full...
I'm crazy for a dolman sleeve done right...

Vintage Outing
Stepping out in vintage velvet jacket from Salvation Army, thrifted Levi's, vintage Christopher Ross belt, loads of bangles, thrifted necklace and Miu Miu dragonfly sandals....
It rained all day, and when it finally stopped, the light was incredible.

Great Jackets!!
I'm always a sucker for a great jacket. New or vintage it doesn't matter as long as it has something different going on. I've had this amazing CDG jacket for years, and it's one of my favorite pieces in my entire wardrobe. It's a jacket that gets a lot of attention when I wear it. Some love it, others look at me like I'm from another planet.
It works as a vest or a jacket and you can put it on from either end. So brilliant!!
I love this Louis Feraud vibrant red tux jacket. This is on the website right now. If it were a bit smaller, it would be hanging in my closet. It's so glamourous....
Close up of the satin lapels....I'm also in love with this Blue sequined and beaded jacket. This is on Plain Objects too.
Also wearing my YSL slingback tributes, Levis jeans, and very vintage Zuni belt. I had a very patriotic theme today--quite by accident.

Preview
So many of you have asked about the ruffled skirt--and yes--it does exist. I so appreciate everyone's patience. Here is a sneak preview. Atlantis Dry Goods is here! There are only 4 pieces initially, and offered in natural. I'm working right now on doing the same pieces in white. Pictured are the peasant top and petticoat. The ruffle skirt is here too, I just haven't photographed it yet. I'm busy at home today working on the vintage site, and Dry Goods...I really hope you guys like it!!!
The peasant top is ridiculously full! There are the two skirts, the peasant, and a cami. The two skirts and cami will retail for under $100.00, the peasant top might a little over $100.00 because it uses so much fabric. (personally, I love that)
