I've been dying to wear my new Ann D.'s out, but it's been a bit cold here lately. Today was beautiful, so after much re-lacing, I got them on. (they have a side zip, but you have to adjust the laces first wear) They're very comfortable...
I've had this belt for more than twenty years. It's huge and weighs a ton. Today seemed like a good day to break it out....
Here's a side view of the Ann D.'s. I really like the heel, but I loved the talon heel from last season.
Outside...
great shoes and fantasic CR belts!

Hey look at you cuteness! I just laced up my camel pair today and now they are all set to go! They totally have to be adjusted the first time but once you get them right the zipper is a miracle in keeping them that way easy peasy. I have the same Kartell lamp on my desk, one in my entry and two for my bedside tables once the bedroom is finished (in the various colors)! Looks like we have a lot of the same tastes!
xoxo!

The shoes look great, and I love the belt.
The colors in the blurry picture are beautiful.
When you buy shoes or clothes, it seems like you plan to keep them forever. Do you ever feel like you make mistakes, or bad clothing investments?
I ask, because I just got rid of some shoes, that I wondered "what was I thinking?"
Purging is important, mainly for the space factor, but some things are definite keepers.
How do you decide what is important?

Thanks for all the kind comments--the sweater is not RO, it's something really inexpensive--I can't remember. I bought my scarf in Morroco....Arline, I have a couple of people ask that question, so I thought I might be a good post for later..judy

What a great belt! I also love all of the animal belts you posted earlier.
You and Jane should check out Yoox right now - they've added a lot of Spring-Summer things to the site, and it's definitely worth a look! :)

Judy~
I work at an upscale consignment boutique in Oregon, and the girls and I here are avid readers of your (and your daughters)blog.
Today, Jen and myself (without talking to each other) both had "dress like Judy days" because we were so inspired by this last post!

I came to your blog via Velvet and Linen and am impressed by the coherence of your personal style. I love your interior inspiration photos--that lovely mix of rustic and refined (epitomized by your burlap covered chairs); and your fashion sense, which seems to reflect a true sense of individual style. That keen eye AND you can sew (whimsical and luxurious creations)! I confess a slight pang of jealousy, but I'll be reading.
