We made it back to Dallas. I arrived home to find my Christmas lights strung, and my tree up already!! (thanks Todd) Our trip was magical--truly an unforgettable experience. I think I need a week just to re-cover. This is a great shot that I took from the Presidential suite at the Crillon--Jane did some nice editing, it was kind of dark, but it really captures Paris.
I'm so happy that you all liked our Christmas offering on the site. We have continued to add new things to replace the things that have sold. Karen came in and shipped both Friday and Monday, so everything is on it's way. There were a few things that double sold, and I will be issuing refunds first thing in the morning. Thanks for all of your support!!

Naomi from Elle Girl Japan sent Jane and me these photos from last night. I'm pictured here with Carol and Maya, Naomi's daughter who is studying at the Sorbonne.
Here is Jane doing the final walk last night....
Adler Jewelry loaned me diamond and emerald earrings and brooch to go with my dress. I was a bit nervous wearing such expensive pieces! Thanks to the Adler family....here are pictures of the pieces.
Photo from Place de la Concorde--the Crillon is on the left. So beautiful!

It's over...the ball was a stunning success, and Jane looked just beautiful. I'm about to drop from the three days activities, but I wanted to share a few pictures from tonight....Jane will have a lot more later.
Taken from a iPhone. Below is the program with cover art by Alber Elbaz.

Well, we made it here. The Xanax was a great thing for this nervous flyer. Paris is just as I remembered---crazy beautiful!! It's cold, but it only makes it more romantic. A few shots from what was really our first day--Wednesday. Tuesday was a bit of a wash, we were all so tired from flying. First thing Wed. morning--a fitting at Chanel, then a visit to Coco Chanel's apartment!! I couldn't believe it!! Here I am sitting on Coco Chanel's sofa, in her salon where she would receive very special customers...
Wow--I will remember this moment forever.
Visiting Coco Chanel's apartment was one of the most special moments that I have ever experienced--Thank you so much Chanel for all of your kindness during the Crillon Ball--you all have made it effortless!!
Getting out of the rain after Jane's fitting.....
Carol wanted to do some shopping at Galleries Lafayette. Here are some photos of their annual Christmas display...
I have more pictures--but my Internet is soooo slow--I'll try for more later, or just wait till I'm home. I hope these download easily for everyone!! Tomorrow is Thanksgiving--everyone have a great holiday, and eat a little turkey for me. Not sure what I'll be eating for Thanksgiving dinner, but I am in Paris afterall--it can't be bad!!
The site opens tomorrow with all or our new things at 8:00 PM central.......

Tomorrow is the day we leave for Paris. I wanted to wish everyone a wonderful Thanksgiving in case we are unable to blog before Thursday. Some of you have probably noticed the site is closed temporarily. If all goes according to plan--we will re-open at 8:00 PM Thanksgiving evening. (central time) We've got 100 new items photographed and ready to go. There is a lot of new jewelry, and a small offering of apparel items too, and loads of belts. I've had several e-mails asking for large vintage scarves with texture. (you guys are very specific) I've looked hard and managed to come up with a few including a great Yohji Yamamoto from the 80's and great wool challis from Cacharel circa 80's. Here is a tiny sampling.....Everyone be safe!!
