Ebay is one of my favorite places to shop :)
I inherited some roosters just like that from my Grandmommy. I don't have them yet though.

I would have never guessed that you learned about the Ross belts purely through eBay. That's funny how the price has sky-rocketed since! You're right about eBay being a good fashion history lesson.

Insightful article. Clearly I need to start shopping on eBay. I was always daunted by the site but your tips are providing me with incentive.

I've often wondered how you come across your eBay finds! Great article, and great detail. I'm a lover of vintage and thrift, and eBay can yield some great things, but I'm always so cautious that it seems I never take advantage! I sit and ponder and wonder... and then the kids come in and life takes over. =^) Adore your style. Adore your blog.

Hi Judy, I just read the article- and as an avid ebay fan myself I found it very helpful! Vintage clothes are always the most searched for things on my list, and I have had a lot of luck with British brands such as Jaeger (An eighties blue blazer for £5 at one point!) I will definitely bear your tips in mind when I'm next searching for something..
I have to admit, ebay does get a little addictive though sometimes! I often have to pull myself away from the tenth or eleventh page of beautiful fifties dresses.
Oh, and congratulations on speaking at the chictopia event! That must have been a great experience to have.

HI--thanks for the article, but you might want to clue the writer or editor in on the misspelling in the article. It reads"...can get a little harry" but I suspect you mean the other kind of hairy.

I am a Web developer looking for shopping cart software that can plug
into HTML or ASP code. I want to have full control over the
appearance and functionality of Web sites I develop, while relying on
a robust process that tracks and tallies customer selections, handles
charge card submission and multiple tax structures, and computes
shipping and handling. I want to offer this to clients for use on
any server or any equipped to also handle ASP and Access.

It's looking good. We took a picture just in case the whole thing deciduates and loses all color before it takes its place center stage at the triple birthday feast at Goomp's tomorrow noon. But we're thinking the color -- and the disconnections of the leaves from the mother plant -- should hold, as fall color by definition signals a leaf's having abscised and lost contact with the mother tree or shrub.

I also like Kenneth Jay Lane's Jewelry and searching from couple of days. Your article helps me out a lot. Thanks for sharing nice collecting of eBay. I was still not aware about the oldie collections of designers.

Great article! I buy 90% of my own clothing & the clothing for my kids on eBay. It's so convenient, and if you are prudent in your bidding, you can save so much money! I always use Big Crumbs to get cash back on my eBay purchases...every little bit helps!

I just enjoyed reading this article. In fact I must say that I have hardly ever come across such a masterpiece. Of late, though I have read articles related to this topic, but this has been the best ever article until now on this topic. I really have high hopes for your next article.
