Nathalie from Hanna Bernhard sent some new pieces over from Paris. Jane and I wanted to shoot them differently than we did last time, so we went to the Japanese Garden inside of the Ft. Worth Botanical Gardens.
It was a beautiful day....here is the insect necklace.
I love how the actual necklace looks like a second set of antenna.
Amazing!!!
Here is the fabulous lion necklace that I wore to Sam's event the other night.
The totally incredible Walrus.....
The Japanese gardens are beautiful. The girls used to love to go when they were little and feed the Koi fish. Jane and I found so much great light, I think we barely made it twenty yards into the gardens. This means we have a whole new story waiting for us there.....
I wore a Jelly Garcia jumper purchased in Tokyo last summer.
Celine wedges.
Inside the rock garden.....
I snapped this photo of my favorite T-Rex. I call her "Mother Rex." (I have days like this)
All for now...Jane and I are counting down the days until we leave for Japan.
WOW!
You are really gorgeous!
The setting is perfect and looks like
a very beautiful place.

Just had to say how much I like this post! Botanical gardens are special places.
The Hana necklaces are so unique; I especially like the insect.

beautiful jewelry as always!
I love your dress!

This outfit is really just so great. The layered-tank effect and jumper itself are really striking, and I love the pseudo-Japanese vibe that the shoes and jumper create, though neither is explicitly inspired by that aesthetic. I'm surprised at the lack of jewelry - on you, that is, but I suppose it's all in the grass, isn't it?

Hi! I just wanted to say that I read you and Jane's blogs and I really enjoy them. I like looking at your pictures (you do such a good job with the pictures, they are beautiful!) and seeing all the creative things you are into. My life is mostly spent sitting behind a computer at work, so it is like a little escape to see you guys doing things like traveling to Japan, Jane going to the debutante ball in her couture gown, and going out of your way to photograph your Hannah Bernard pieces in a Japanese garden with plastic dinosaurs! Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks to you guys for doing your blogs, it really is very entertaining to read!

Beautiful pictures and amazing jewelry! Bright, botanic green is probably one of my favorite colors right now. I am moving to Fort Worth this summer and am excited to hear about places such as this garden...any other suggestions of must see sites? (I'm sure there are many.)

Oh those Hanna pieces are awesome!! Such beautiful colors! I haven't been to the Japanese Gardens since I was a little girl. I loved feeding the koi fish too! I need to tell my hubby that he needs to take me and my son there soon before it gets too hot. Thank you for reminding me of how beautiful it is. :)
I can't wait until you and Jane go to Tokyo. I'm looking forward to all of your pictures and stories.

Did you visit Shimokitazawa the last time you were there? I've heard it's a totally cool area but I didn't have time to go. Would you do me a big favor and take a visit there for me? Let me know what you think?

Hi sweetie! You look great and I love the JG jumper, Hysteric jeans and of course the celine wedges. I bought the other version with the sling back and peep toe and love them. They remind of of MMM ones Jane and I both have from last year. Look forward to your Japan posts and much inspiration for us stuck in the States with no escape!
What do you guys think of the Chloe canvas/leather wrap shoes this season? I bought the flat sandals to run around with the baby! Love the heels and wedges too!
