A year ago, artist Robert Zungu and curator Jeffrey Uslip formed their interior design company, Home- Article. Recently, they sent me some photos because of our common thread of working in bronze. Home-Article creates luxury bronze and silver object for the home and garden. Their items reference art, and historical themes. Jeffrey and Robert have combined their backgrounds in contemporary art and art history. They have pioneered new techniques in mold-making and casting to transform nature into utilitarian objects. I'm in love with several pieces on the site. Here are some pictures:
Solid sterling Sarrencia candlesticks. Beautiful!!
Staghorn Urn cast in solid bronze. This is my favorite. The duo's most incredible piece is without a doubt, the bronze Octopus bowl.
