For those who didn't get to see Jane's room on Nowness, here are some pictures. Sam from StyleSwoon helped me design Jane's room. Jane was in Italy, and we had only one week for a total transformation. Sam decided to mount the oriental screen that we didn't use downstairs on the wall as Jane's headboard for her bed. The rest of the pieces were leftovers in the garage. Sam did graffiti on an old chair we had forever. I chose the bedding, and found the lacquered orange side tables at Again and Again in Dallas.
As you can see, Jane's room is very tiny, so we made use of every square inch of space. There is a fairly nice sized closet in the room, but we added more hanging space by making a makeshift closet along the wall. Todd built the shoe shelf, which enables Jane to keep all of her shoes outside of her closet. This makes it much easier to keep organized.
Needless to say, she loved it!! Thanks Sam!

Tiny!O my, you're so american! ;) Can't believe how spacious houses are in the states, your bathrooms are the same size as our bedrooms. So no, I don 't think her room is small.
But it is very, very beautiful! And all the pics I've seen on nowness look very cool too!

The screen behind the bed is truly stunning, and I love that you weren't afraid to keep adding more texture, color, and ornate detail.

how many times can I say perfect to describe this room? Jane is so lucky to have you! this was a very sweet and kind surprise! You and your team are so skilled in interior design, it looks like right out of a magazine. Now I am going to call my mother over to renovate my room... lol

you did and excellent job! i believe you and my mother would get along great. she is very much into antiques and interior decorating, but she has a hummingbird mentality and can't focus on one idea! lol. i'd hire you in a second :)

what an awesome transformation! i liked jane's last bedroom as well. it seemed like the earlier room's design was based on neutral colors and exciting textures. this new room is a big departure with the bright colors and ornate details. shows you have such creative range. of course, i covet jane's show collection!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the pillows you chose! I recognize the pink and purple ones from West Elm, but where are those black ones from? They are stunning!
